Are you a hospital system impacted by recent medical religious exemption law passage?

Now that several states have passed medical religious exemption laws commonly known as “License to discriminate” laws, several issues have arisen.

1) How as a medical provider do you reassure LGBTQ folks that you are open and ready to serve them with the respect and dignity all people deserve?

2) How, as a large medical provider, do you head off the likely scenario of being all ready for a medical procedure with the patient prepped and ready to go just to find out that an employee assigned to the procedure has a moral objection and refuses to do their job?

The reality is this could happen.

You may need some help in navigating these competing issues - wanting to treat everyone with dignity and respect but not wanting to get caught in a last minute staffing issue recently made legal by your state government.
